Alexis Blanchet is Senior Lecturer in Cinema & Media studies department of University Paris III Sorbonne Nouvelle. He is teaching and doing research in film and video game studies. Formerly associated with the French National Library, member of the Observatoire des Mondes Numériques en Sciences Humaines (Omnsh), he is currently studying the cultural, economical and technical synergies between cinema and the video game, and is interested in how the public nowadays is being offered extended and transmediatic fictional worlds.
